I’ve been meaning to share my new poster prints for Wild Boys & Girls with you for ages and finally I’ve got some great lifestyle shots of the adventure print to show you thanks to my stylist friend and Function+Form side kick Tiff from Curate & Display.

My brief to her was to show that the prints can work anywhere in the home – not just in the kids room – and I love how she styled and photographed them. Her minimalist approach and love for plants is evident and works so well with the typographic ADVENTURE message.

FOR THE HOME | STELTON AW 2016

I’m loving the clean styling and latest products by Danish brand Stelton.

The Theo range launched last year in earthy black Scandinavian stoneware and the simple, modern shapes are complimented by the subtle use of bamboo in the form of a tray, lid or handle. I like the tactile contrast between rough and smooth, glazed vs untreated.

Personally, I’ve always loved the shape of the Theo slow brew coffee maker so I’m excited to find out that they’ve added a coffee grinder to the AW 2016 range which comes with a brass top.

Coffee brewing has just become a little bit more ceremonial but nonetheless stylish.

These are shots of the new 24/7 office furniture collection by the Finnish Design Shop. With their clean lines and neutral white colour these pieces work just as well in the home as in an office and blend perfectly with other design classics.

STYLING | BOTANICAL PORTRAITS BY VEE SPEERS

I’m not sure if I’m more in love with the beautiful styling by Gitte Christensen or the actual botanical portraits by Vee Speers. The soft lighting, pastel colours and simple modern styling sits perfectly with the detailed portrait of the four different plants and flowers.

The Australian artist is based in Paris and you might be familiar with her series Thirteen and The Birthday Party which seems to pop up in all the stylish spaces around the world.

Her new series titled Botanica is available through Danish company Vissevasse and you can purchase posters (50x70cm) as well as post cards (15x21cm) of these gorgeous portraits.

The best thing is they don’t need watering or any looking after – perfect for a plant phobe like myself.

SPRING BREAKFAST WITH AMARA

As I write this it seems that Spring is finally coming out of hibernation with some hazy but warm sunshine flooding my little home office and warming my back.

Perfect timing to share a Spring breakfast styling I did in collaboration with Amara, the online luxury homewares and gift shopping site which hosts over 600 curated brands, among them two of my favourites Menu and Design Letters from Denmark.

I wanted to try something different with this set up and decided to shoot a before and after scene. In many ways this is quite a realistic representation of what happens at our breakfast table where little hands can transform a beautiful set into a bombsite within seconds.

Thankfully the crumbs are easily swept up with our super stylish funnel and sweep though I may keep my A cup out of harms way and in the cupboard next time.
