You don’t really associate wooden cottages with high ceilings but this Danish home built in 2008 has been cleverly designed so that the main living / kitchen / dining area has 7m high sloping ceilings which not only harness lots of light but add a sense of generosity and space. Paint it all white and add some Dinesen floorboards and you’ve got the perfect backdrop for Scandinavian living.

    Loving the neutrals in this space, specially the dining area. The chairs and the lights stole my heart, absolutely gorgeous.
