We are finally on our way east to the Baltic Sea coast after what seemed like a lifetime of ‘when are we going on the plane’ questions by the little guys.
They will have their first German Christmas experience and boy will they be delighted to discover presents on Christmas Eve as well as filled stockings on Christmas Day.
We are all so ready for some rest and recreation after the last couple of weeks and looking forward to Oma’s home cooking and catching up with friends and family. I’ll be embracing ‘hygge’ and happily let myself fall into that Bermuda triangle of no reception that seems to engulf our small village.
Slow living at it’s finest with the local radio station belting out a combo of 80ies Christmas pop and classical hymns. Walks by the beach and in the woods followed by coffee and cake and watching the fire. Sounds blissful? Well, due to high sugar levels I think we might just have a tantrum or twenty to keep us from drifting into romantic euphoria. And of course there’s a fifth birthday to celebrate right after Christmas – never get’s dull around here.
So before I go I’d like to thank you all for popping by this year, leaving comments and spreading the Stylejuicer love. May you all have restful festive days and recharge those batteries with peace, love and joy.
