Well, when I say I’m feeling indigo I don’t actually mean that I’m feeling blue or anything just that I’m loving all things blue and especially indigo at the moment.

I also feel super inspired after attending my very first blogging conference here in London #Blogtacular. Apart from hearing and actually speaking to (!) one of the biggest lifestyle bloggers out there – the wonderful Joy Cho from OhJoy – I loved listening to all the inspiring and different stories of all my fellow bloggers. Let me tell you they are all just lovely people who put an enormous amount of effort into their blog – mostly out of a deep passion for their subject and without any remuneration. I’d encourage you to give your favourites a little comment and social media love as I know from my own experience how happy it makes them.

So, back to blue and today’s mood board inspiration. I find indigo such a strong colour that we see all the time often without noticing as it doesn’t shout or pop out at you. For me the colour is soothing maybe because of it’s connection with nature and the elements and I love wearing dark blues and of course denim.

It’s softer and gentler than black and works better with my pale skin. I’m even going through a bit of a blue phase on my Instagram. What do you think of indigo and what does it evoke in you? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Enjoy the mix!

DRESS /// Love the movement in this shot.
NAPKIN /// Hand sewn and dyed linen napkin by Camellia Fiber Company.
FATHER /// For all the new dads. It’s going to be an epic journey.
WORDS /// So true.
STARS /// If I need to get some perspective I look at the stars.
ROW ROW ROW /// Currently my kids favourite tune.
YARN /// For my love of all things bespoke. Soft handspun nettle and hemp yarn.
DETAIL ///Close up of Margaret Howell shirt collar.

Ahhh, blue’s my favourite colour! Especially dark blue, I’ve loved it since I was a little girl. 🙂
