Our holiday was meant to look like this summer mood board – calm, relaxing, big skies, long walks on wild beaches with even wilder kids, great times with Grandma and Grandpa followed by hot, lazy days spent laughing, playing, talking, eating, drinking and joking with dear friends in New York and Upstate…
But then this stupid pandemic broke out and with a heavy heart we had to cancel our plans to go to the US. Instead we’re now spending time closer to home in Northern Germany. However, our intentions are still the same – just in a different country.
Let’s hope we get another chance next summer to tell stories, walk wild beaches, laze in the sunshine, eat good food, play games and just be. We miss you Grandma, Grandpa, Vanessa, Jameel and kids.
