I’ve been drawn to modern rustic Danish Christmas decor on my Pinterest and Instagram accounts and simply have to share this amazing home with you today. It’s the weekend cottage of creative director Betina Stampe who founded the Danish homewares company Bloomingville.
Her festive style is simple and monochrome with lots of glass and natural textures like branches, wood and pine cones. As Bloomingville’s creative director she likes to add something new and different every year and has very subtly added little hints of ‘hot pink’ to this year’s decor.
I absolutely love these glimpses of her home and could curl up quite happily in front of her fire. The earthy tones and textures of rugs, throws, baskets, bowls and furniture make the place feel really warm and inviting and supports the unique Bloomingville style – a mixture of raw products with a nostalgic Scandinavian twist.
Interestingly, Betina likes to take all her festive decorations down shortly after Christmas and welcome Spring inside with lots of pastel accessories as well as hyacinths and tulips. An idea I might adopt myself this year as we’re moving shortly after Crimbo.
