‘Out To Play’ is a bit of a mantra for the team behind Boys&Girls. They think if it’s not comfortable and practical enough for playing in then it’s not worth wearing.

A great criteria to be judging children’s clothes by. Boys&Girls are a funky urban brand with a deliciously fresh concept and I love their range of vibrant clothes. Their Spring/Summer 2013 collection would certainly go down well with my two lively toddlers!

ETHICAL, ORGANIC AND A DASH OF ATTITUDE – MOI

Scandinavian children’s wear brand Mói wants to inspire sustainable living and make the earth a better place through certified responsible and ethical production methods. They are commited to creating an eco-friendly product that is comfortable as well as stylish.

The classic designs are easy to mix and match and work for any occassion from playing to partying. I love the neutral colourpalette, soft fabrics and comfortable designs of the Spring/Summer 2013 collection that won’t need much convincing putting on. Their labels are printed on the inside to avoid that itching feeling so many of us adults have to put up with and all tags are made from recyclable materials to minimize harm to the enviroment.

A cute story accompanies their logo which is the name and symbol of an Icelandic raven that the designer’s family fed and sheltered for many years.

What a lucky bird!

MOOD BOARD | SUNNY SIDE UP

Yellow is my favourite colour and always has been since Kindergarten, my knee jerk answer to ‘what’s your favourite colour’.
 
It’s so ingrained that I don’t even think about why it’s my favourite colour anymore. Putting this yellow kids mood board together has made me realise that not only do I associate yellow with sunshine and warmth but it makes me feel happy and upbeat. For me yellow has got energy. It’s fun and loud and noisy and laughs in your face so nothing bad can be yellow, right!? I realise that not everybody may be a fan but hopefully this post will bring a little sunshine to your day.

TIMELESS KID’S FASHION WITH A POST-WAR FEEL

Spanish kids are very much part of daily family life and rarely left with a baby sitter but instead taken along to all events and outings.
 
Which brings with it the (perceived) need to dress up and Spanish parents love nothing more than dressing their kids up! Below are some adorable photos of the Spanish fashion label LaBubé. It’s the Autumn/Winter Collection form 2011 but their clothes are timeless and I hope you’ll enjoy the beautiful shots.
