A warm throw and curling up on this armchair with a cuppa is what I need on this rather damp Monday morning. After a stint of lovely warm autumnal weather the rain has returned to London but hopefully not for too long.
If you’re suffering from acute apartment envy let me reassure you that nobody actually lives here. This interiors crush was shot purely for styling purposes (I think). Still there’s something so appealing about tidy, clutter free spaces for me. It somehow cleanses my visual palate and makes me want to live equally sparse which is of course an oxymoron with 2 small kids and The Cowboy in the house.
What really stands out for me in these pictures is the importance of textures in a mostly neutral colour environment. The wood, leather, cork, concrete, linen, wool and decorative greenery add so much warmth and interest to the space making it habitable and wishing I’d live there.
If this was a shoot for a real estate agent then mission accomplished – at least for me.
